ALAN Carr has declared that he’s given up on sex, despite hoping to find love this year.
The Celebrity Traitors star, 49, revealed that he’d put himself back onto dating apps while filming with Amanda Holden for Amanda and Alan’s Greek Job.

However, it appears he’s had a change of heart and now instead feels he should be “chemically castrated”.
Speaking to The Telegraph about his mission to find a new companion, Alan said: “I’ve got no more romance in me.
“I’ve had enough. Done at 50. That’s it. No more sex.
“Shop’s closed, gone. I might as well chemically castrate myself.

“Oh, I can’t be doing with it any more. The apps, I can’t go on them, it’s too much!”
Though the star cheekily added that if a special someone were to come along he may still be tempted.
Alan added: “If I’m riding on a horse and some fit Scottish man in a kilt comes out and scoops me up, I wouldn’t say no.”
Earlier this year Alan purchased a £3m castle in Scotland, which will be the subject of his new Disney Plus show, Castle Man.
The programme will follow Alan renovating the property, which boasts an impressive 16 bedrooms.
He plans to transform his castle into a luxury hotel and spa after he signed a seven-figure deal.
Alan split from his ex-husband of over a decade, Paul Drayton, back in 2022.
