A meeting between Punjab BJP president Jattvibeil Jakhar and former Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has set off a political buzz. Jakhar called on the former Punjab CM and a BJP leader Capt Amarinder Singh today at a hospital in Mohali.Capt Amarinder — who underwent a knee surgery recently —was in the hospital for a routine check-up. Sources close to him said he was fit and does not need a stick to walk.Jakhar wrote on X: “Called upon Capt. Amarinder Singh ji, who is in the hospital for a routine check-up. He was in high spirits and good cheer. Wishing him good health.”The BJP is in full confrontation with the AAP government in the state.Jakhar also led a delegation of BJP leaders and workers to Mohali SSP earlier today for action against AAP workers who indulged in violence against at BJP offices in the district.
