Once considered an educationally backward district, Mansa has continued to script remarkable success stories in the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Class XII examinations, with girl students leading the way through exceptional performances over the past few years.On Wednesday, 16-year-old Supneet Kaur, a student of Gurukul Academy Public Senior Secondary School, Ubha, secured the first position in the PSEB Class XII results. She achieved a perfect score of 500 out of 500, bringing pride to the district.Last year, Arsh, a girl student of Shri Tara Chand Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Bhikhi, secured the third position in the state by scoring 498 out of 500 marks.Earlier, in 2023, Sujan Kaur of Dashmesh Convent Senior Secondary School, Sardulgarh, topped the PSEB Class XII examinations with a flawless score of 500 out of 500 marks.Paramjit Singh, Deputy District Education Officer (Dy DEO), Mansa, said, “The students have achieved success through their hard work and the support of their teachers.”Meanwhile, Neelam Rani, DEO, Mansa, congratulated the students on their achievements and the teachers for their hard work. She further said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann had called Supneet Kaur to Chandigarh today to honour her for her achievement.
