The CBI has arrested another key accused who was the source of the NEET-UG 2026 Physics question paper leak.Manisha Sanjay Havaldar, currently employed at Seth Hiralal Saraf Prashala, Pune, was arrested after thorough interrogation by CBI.The agency said Havaldar was involved in the NEET-UG 2026 process and was appointed as an expert by National Testing Agency (NTA). She had full access to the Physics question papers. In April 2026, she shared several questions from the Physics section of the exam with co-accused Manisha Mandhare, who was arrested on May 16. The questions she shared matched those in the NEET-UG 2026 Physics question paper sets.In this case, CBI has also conducted searches at multiple locations across the country and seized several incriminating documents, laptops, bank statements, and mobile phones. A detailed analysis of the seized items is underway. So far, 11 accused have been arrested from Delhi, Jaipur, Gurugram, Nasik, Pune, Latur, and Ahilyanagar.“The investigation is continuing with special teams. The probe so far has identified the actual source of the question paper leak. Middlemen involved in recruiting students — who paid lakhs of rupees to attend special coaching classes where questions that would appear in the NEET-UG 2026 exam were shared — have also been identified and arrested,” CBI said.
