Three boats can be seen steaming across a body of water, in grainy black and white footage.
Then a small set of four unidentified objects appear in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
They appear to be flying in formation, low over the water.
The eerie video is labelled as “4 UAP Formation Iran 26 Aug 2022 over water [CALLSIGN]”.

The Department of War writes that it “is likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a US military platform operating within the United States Central Command area of responsibility in 2022″.
It was uploaded to a classified network in June 2024.
Several large black rectangles redact information that could identify “eyewitnesses, the location of government facilities, or potentially sensitive information about military sites”.
The video has been released as part of Donald Trump‘s UFO files.

The US president said last month that administration will be releasing as many government files as possible and that the docs involve conversations with people who “saw things you wouldn’t believe”.
Trump said during a White House event with the crew of Nasa‘s landmark Artemis II mission on Wednesday: “For some reason, and I guess it’s just a reason, it’s been in the minds of people for a long time.
“I think some of it is going to be very interesting to people.”
The second batch of UFO files was released on Friday as part of the president’s push to unseal government records on unidentified anomalous phenomena.
Posted by the Defense Department, the files include 222 documents, photos, and videos tied to unidentified anomalous phenomena.
As well as the strange Iranian aliens, another video that was released shows the moment an F-16 US military fighter jet shot down a UFO, obliterating it and sending debris flying.
The never-before-seen infrared footage showed a US military post closely monitoring the mysterious flying object over the skies of Lake Huron near Michigan on February 12, 2023.
Moments later, the object is destroyed by a “weapon system” operating within the US Northern Command area, according to declassified documents released by the Department of War on Friday.
The object appeared to be an octagon shape with strings hanging off.
The fighter jet shot two missiles at the UFO, striking the object the first time as debris crashed into the waters below.
