Wigan have teamed up with Tote in order to give travelling fans to get their money back on their coach transport.

As part of the build-up to the Wembley final, Tote will refund up to £10,000 to supporters.

The company will do it by paying for five of the official fan coaches making the trip to London.

The decision behind which coaches will be free will be made by players picking one of 29 numbered cards, which represent the coaches.

The five selected coaches will now have their travel money returned courtesy of the Tote.

Natalie Bradford, head of marketing at UK Tote Group, said: “Big finals are all about the fans.

“We wanted to do something that genuinely gives something back to the supporters making the trip to Wembley.

“Money Back has become a huge part of what we do as a brand.

“So this felt like a really natural way to bring that to life with Wigan Warriors whilst hopefully creating a bit of excitement and fun around the build-up to such a massive occasion for the club.”

Warriors’ head of partnerships Rebecca Webb added: “One of the things we’ve really wanted from this partnership is activations that genuinely engage supporters rather than just traditional sponsorship visibility.

“This felt like a fun way to build excitement around Wembley whilst rewarding some of the fans making the trip.”

The Warriors will be hoping for a better showing in the final than in their last match against Hull KR.

The Greater Manchester-based side were thumped 62-4 at KCOM Craven Park.
