EAGLE-EYED fans spotted Federico Valverde’s scar during Uruguay’s World Cup clash with Saudi Arabia.
The Real Madrid midfielder, 27, was involved in a training ground bust-up with team-mate Aurelien Tchouameni last month.

The incident left Valverde requiring a trip to hospital after suffering a nasty cut on his forehead.
He went on to miss his side’s El Clasico clash with Barcelona after being diagnosed with concussion.
Valverde was absent from three matches in total following the unsavoury incident but did return for Real Madrid‘s final game of the season.
A month on, fans spotted remnants of the cut on his forehead as he turned out for his country.

And the scar was also visible in Valverde’s official pre-tournament photos.
One wrote on X: “tchouameni maimed valverde LMFAOOOO big a** scar on his forehead”.
And a second claimed: “Valverde still rocking the Tchouameni scar in his official World Cup photo is actually cold. Bro turned a headbutt into a permanent reminder.”
Another added: “That scar is pure warrior spirit Valverde gives everything for the badge. Legend in the making”.

Valverde and Tchouameni were fined a combined €1million (£863k) following their bust-up.
Tchouameni made a public apology on social media, posting: “The internet loves to invent the wildest stories for the buzz so don’t believe everything that’s being said or the false narrative,” he wrote.
“No matter who is right or wrong, we should always look for the calmest solution to resolve a conflict.
“Now is no longer the time to figure out who did what, who said what, or who was right or wrong. I acknowledge the club’s sanction and I accept it.
“We remain a family, with disagreements at times, but we must always put our objectives above everything else.
“I have apologised to the group, and I also want to extend my apologies to all Madridistas.”
