A BRIDE-TO-BE and her alleged lover have been arrested after they pushed her fiancé to his death off a cliff, cops say.
Ketan Vishal Agrawal died after plunging into a 400ft-deep gorge in Lohagad Fort, India – with his fiancée claiming that he slipped.

Cops have accused Siya Goyal of luring her fiancé onto a hike for her birthday before ambushing him and throwing him off the mountain.
They arrested her and another man on Tuesday, charging them with murder and criminal conspiracy.
Goyal initially told told police that her fiancé Ketan, 26, slipped and fell while taking photographs of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Emergency services scrambled to the scene and, after a pain-staking three-hour rescue operation, found the young man’s dead body.

But bride-to-be Goyal’s disturbing lack of emotion to the tragedy raised suspicions.
“She saw the body and did not react at all”, said Ketan’s father, Vishal Agrawal.
“There was no grief, no tears, no shock. That was the moment we knew something was terribly wrong.”
Cops launched a probe into the suspicious death and investigated both “financial disputes and relationships”.

In a bombshell twist, police said that Goyal had been having an affair with another man, identified as Chetan Babulal Chaudhary from Kondhwa, a city 100 miles southeast of Mumbai.
Officers suspect Goyal and her secret lover, 22, of tricking her fiance onto the trek before conspiring to kill him.
They claimed that Chaudhary waited on the mountain for the couple to wander by – before pouncing and throwing Ketan to his death.
Police arrested the 22-year-old who allegedly confessed to the killing – prompting the arrest of Goyal later that same day.

Both have been charged with murder and criminal conspiracy.
Police said: “The investigation showed Goyal was unwilling to marry Agarwal and saw him as an obstacle to her relationship with Chaudhary”.
The pair were due to be wed in November after becoming engaged in February.
A historic palace in Udaipur had reportedly been booked, with two private aircraft arranged to fly in guests.
Goyal studied commerce and ran a bakery, while Chaudhary owned a dry fruits manufacturing business, according to local media.
“If she didn’t want to marry him, she could have just said no. We would have cancelled the wedding immediately”, said Ketan’s grief-stricken father.
