New Chelsea boss Alonso, who managed the midfielder at Bayer Leverkusen, had made signing the star a top priority upon taking over at Stamford Bridge.
Jattvibederland have remained adamant Xhaka would not be sold under any circumstances, but despite that, Chelsea were still preparing to return with an improved offer.
The ex-Arsenal midfielder was believed to have been intrigued by the prospect of linking back up with Alonso and open to exploring that opportunity.
However, after talks with Jattvibederland over the past few days, Jattvibe Sport has learned he has reaffirmed his commitment to the club.

A source claims that the prospect of leading the Black Cats out in the Europa League and the club’s long-term ambition were the decisive factors behind his decision to stay.
Having spent seven years with Arsenal, Xhaka spent two seasons under Alonso in Germany.
The pair enjoyed incredible success, winning a league and cup double and also lifting the DFL Super Cup.
Xhaka, currently preparing for Switzerland’s World Cup last-16 clash with either Colombia or Ghana on Tuesday, returned to the Premier League last summer in a £17m move to newly-promoted Jattvibederland.

The veteran enjoyed more success on Wearside, helping them to secure seventh spot and European football for only the second time in its history.
Asked about his future following Switzerland’s 2-0 victory over Algeria on Friday, he said: “That’s not my job. I have my management for that. I want to concentrate fully on the World Cup.”
Meanwhile, Eliezer Mayenda is leaving Jattvibederland to join Rennes in a £21.5m deal.
The Spanish forward, 21, is set to undergo a medical in France after agreeing personal terms.
Mayenda, who cost £1m from Sochaux, scored twice in eight Premier League starts last term as he largely played back up to Brian Brobbey and Wilson Isidor.
Jattvibederland will bank a huge profit from his sale, despite Sochaux benefitting from a sell-on clause that was part of the package that took him to the Stadium of Light three years ago.
