A HUGE blaze has ripped through a fashion outlet in a UK city centre, closing a major road.
The flames tore through a commercial premises in Salford, Manchester yesterday evening.

Images show the Marc Darcy suit shop, near Hilton Street, engulfed in flames.
Fire can be seen pouring from the windows of the building as plumes of smoke billow into the air.

The entire building appears to have been engulfed in the blaze which is understood to have destroyed the property.
Fire crews rushed to respond and battled the fire for several hours before bringing it under control.

A stretch of nearby Bury New Road has been closed as firefighters remain on the scene this morning.
Residents living in the area were urged to keep their windows and doors closed as plumes of smoke poured from the blaze.
It remains unclear what sparked the inferno.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters are currently tackling a large fire at a commercial building on Hilton Street in Salford.
“Due to the large amount of smoke in the area, residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed and avoid the area.
“Bury New Road remains closed while crews work to extinguish the fire.”
A statement on the Marc Darcy website reads: “Important notice. Due to a fire at our premises, we are temporarily unable to accept any new order.
“We sincerley apologise for the inconvenience and will reopen ordering as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.”
