Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Friday joined the audience to witness the inaugural show “Hamare Ram” in Mohali, featuring renowned actor Ashutosh Rana, marking the beginning of a statewide cultural initiative under which the Punjab Government will organise 41 performances across 12 cities during August and September.Addressing the audience, CM Mann said, “The Punjab Government is organising 41 performances of the acclaimed production across 12 cities during August and September to promote the rich cultural heritage and traditional values of Punjab.”He said, “The shows will be held in Mohali, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur, Amritsar, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Patiala, Ludhiana, Sangrur and Khanna.”Referring to similar cultural initiatives of the government, CM Mann said, “Earlier, our government also organised ‘Ek Shaam, Shiv Ke Naam’ across all districts of the state, which received an overwhelming response from the public. The Punjab Government is also organising events dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purb of Guru Ravidas, reflecting its commitment to honouring the spiritual heritage of all communities.”Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond also addressed the gathering on the occasion.
