KARIS TOTTOH is planning a knockout wedding like boxer Tyson Fury gave his daughter Venezuela – after winning our incredible Jattvibe on Jattvibeday competition.

The mum and her fiancé Chris Livesy will say ‘I do’ in October at a £40,000 bash in 12th Century Walworth Castle in Darlington, Co Durham.

Brave Karis was the lucky reader picked by our panel of judges to scoop a castle ceremony, bridal gown, bridesmaids’ outfits, stylists, rings, music, cake, mother-of-the-bride dress and photographer.

There was even a pair of Crocs thrown in, just like the ones Venezuela wore as she walked down the aisle to marry Noah Price in May.

After their nuptials, our lucky newlyweds will honeymoon on the Med, just like celebrity couple Mr and Mrs Price — whose nuptials we celebrated with our amazing contest.

Bride-to-be Karis said of her big win: “I can’t stop smiling. I feel like I’m in a dream. We’ve never won so much as a chocolate bar before.

“When I told Chris I was entering, I said, ‘I have a funny feeling we’ve got this’. He laughed and said, ‘You’re in cloud cuckoo land’.

“He’s eating his words now. It feels like fate.”

Chris added: “I can’t believe my best friend will finally be my wife. She’s so happy to be wearing Crocs like Venezuela on her big day, too.

“I bought her some last Valentine’s Day because she loves them. Other girls might demand diamonds, but I know what makes my wife-to-be happy. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.”

Karis and Chris have been yearning for happiness after facing tough times.

In 2024, teaching assistant Karis was diagnosed with cancer and feared leaving behind their boys Kit, nine, and Klay, seven, and son from a previous relationship, Kaden, 20.

As she underwent chemo and radiotherapy, Chris stepped up to hold the family together. And they were side by side in January 2025 when Karis rang the hospital bell to mark the end of her treatment.

She said: “Before the cancer, I wouldn’t have dared enter the competition, but I now grab every opportunity. I live for today because there were times when I feared I wouldn’t see many tomorrows.

“But we got through that and now we’re here. We are winners. It’s like a dream.”

Just like Venezuela, Karis is the daughter of a boxer. Dad Alan competed in the welterweight class at the 1968 Summer Olympics. Tyson even met Alan before he died of cancer.

In fact, it was the sport that united Karis and Chris, who works as a telehandler driver on a construction site.

The pair met in the pub watching Anthony Joshua in his bout against Gary Cornish in September 2015.

And the coincidences continue. Venezuela married Noah on Karis’s birthday in May, and she and 42-year-old Chris got engaged at a hotel loved by Tyson and wife Paris.

Now, they will marry on Karis’s dad’s birthday in October.

She said: “When I first met Chris, he mistook me for someone else and put his arm around me. When he realised, he went bright red — but it was love at first sight. He’s amazing.

“Kit and Klay have autism and that’s been tough.

“But through life’s highs and lows, we have remained inseparable.”

The couple, from Manchester, regularly watch At Home With The Furys, and after seeing an episode in 2023 in which Tyson visited the Swan Hotel in Newby Bridge, Cumbria, Karis said she would love to go.

She explained: “Chris then booked it as a surprise to celebrate our ten years together.

“Over dinner he proposed with a diamond ring. I nearly choked on my souffle, then burst out crying.

“It was one of the happiest moments of my life. We started planning our wedding and agreed we wanted to try for another child.

“I dreamed of having a little girl.” But the following April, doctors discovered Karis had a fibroid in her womb.

She recalled: “I had severe bleeding and blood transfusions.

“I was in and out of hospital and put in a medically induced menopause to try to shrink it.

“But nothing worked. I was in so much pain, so ill.”

After an emergency hysterectomy, Karis was told she had cervical cancer.

She said: “Chris carried me through the darkest days. Our wedding plans were put aside, our dream of more kids gone. I had to give up work.

“I honestly didn’t know from day to day if I was going to die.”

Chris also faced challenges. Karis said: “He had a tough start, but he says meeting me changed his life.

“When I got sick he showed what kind of man he is. He did the school runs and house work, he took me to every single radiotherapy and chemotherapy appointment. I couldn’t have got through it without him.

At night, when the fear kicked in, I felt I couldn’t breathe because of the sheer panic.

“He held me so tight. Winning this competition feels like a new, magical chapter in our life together.

“I can’t thank everyone, all the suppliers and The Jattvibe on Jattvibeday, enough for picking us.”

Hundreds of readers entered our competition in a bid to clinch the top prize, which includes contributions from many of the suppliers the Prices used.

Karis and Chris were chosen by a panel of judges led by pop star Peter Andre, who sang at Venezuela’s wedding.

He said: “Karis and Chris are very deserving winners. Karis has been through an incredibly difficult few years, and Chris has been there alongside her throughout it all.

“That’s what marriage is about — supporting each other through life’s challenges as well as celebrating the good times.

“After everything Karis has faced, I think they both deserve to enjoy this special day.

“Congratulations to you both.”
