KATIE Price’s ex Dane Bowers has revealed he’ll undergo a “very serious operation” for a back condition which has left him in constant pain and “struggling to sleep”.
The Another Level hitmaker, 46, who the former glamour model dated back in 1998, took to TikTok for a candid assessment of his health and upcoming surgery.

Former popstar Dane urged his followers to seek a “second opinion” with any health concerns they may have before confirming he has been booked in for a spinal fusion.
In a clip which saw him strolling around his garden he told how, after a initial diagnosis, he had booked another appointment with a different health professional.

“I need to basically have a fusion”.
Spinal fusion is a procedure which sees two or more vertebrae joined together with metal rods, cages or screws.
Dane, who dated Katie for two years with the pair famously making a sex tape together, also told how he need to have a CT scan to see if he needs any more bone removed
He said he then needs “screws put into my discs basically” and added: “A second opinion was definitely good.
“It does mean I am cancelling my operation with the other doctor and I am really happy I did it.
“So really important, I would say, the embarrassment of asking someone else was not needed, because I ended up getting that opinion and that is the way I am going to go”.
Dane admitted he was “gutted” to miss out on his games of padel and golf and confessed: “My life will change a little bit, but in general, it will be for the best.
“Maybe I can finally get rid of this horrible ache and pain that I always have in my left leg and left foot.
“At the minute I find it hard to sleep, so fingers crossed the other side of this will be a lot better”.
His social media followers were quick to react and one wrote: “I have the exact same issue, also in my left leg, I feel for you. Fusion is the best solution you’ll be relieved when it’s done, back to padel in no time”.
Another quipped: “Getting older is fabulous isn’t it!” as a third wrote: “Wishing you well and hope for a speedy recovery”.
Recently, Dane confessed he was hooked on ex Katie’s “bizarre” marriage to Lee Andrews – so perhaps the saga will see him through his recovery too.
