On one occasion, the thief even prepared a meal and a cake for one of her victims when they returned from holiday.

They later discovered a number of belongings were missing and some had been replaced with fakes.

Rose stole Christmas ornaments a homeowner had been collecting for 27 years, jewellery worth £35,000, a Le Creuset Balti pan and a silver dish.

She further inflicted “devastating pain” on one man when she stole a CBE awarded to his grandfather for his bravery during World War Two.

Footage released by cops shows the moment Rose was detained by officers while driving a rented BMW 2 Series, wearing designer shades, jewellery and a Rolex.

The crook can be seen looking wide-eyed as officers tell her she is under arrest.

Rose was found guilty of five counts of theft from dwelling in December last year.

She was last month for five years after carrying out a string of frauds to find her champagne lifestyle.

In one of her schemes, Rose posed as a landlady to prey on desperate tenants looking to rent homes in Manchester’s Green Quarter.

She pocketed her victims’ deposits and jetted off on an all-inclusive holiday to Miami, leaving her devastated victims behind.

Rose also splurged the cash on oysters and champagne at Claridges, as well as designer shoes and a Rolex watch.

Her fraud amounted to “just shy” of £67,000, Southwark Crown Court heard.

The scam was the latest in a long line of scheming from Rose, who began her life of crime in 2008 when she stole £60,000 while working at a bank.

Three years later, she was jailed for 20 months after posing as a landlord called Sarah Adams in a £4,000 rental swindle.

Rose also left brides distraught after stealing from them on their wedding day while posing as a make-up artist.

Detective Constable Adam Stather, of Warwickshire Police, said after the case: “Rose lived a lavish lifestyle, funded by the things she stole from her victims who trusted her to look after their homes.

“These items were mostly highly sentimental and cherished.

“We hope that the victims find some comfort now that she has been caught and held accountable for her actions.”
