Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday accused the AAP government in Punjab of failing to fulfil its promise of eliminating the drug menace within six months, alleging that the problem had assumed serious proportions in the state.Saini toured Jalalabad and Arniwala during the fourth phase of the BJP’s “Drug-Free Punjab Yatra”. He said the fight against drugs could not be restricted to law enforcement and required simultaneous efforts in treatment, rehabilitation, sports, education, employment and other opportunities for the youth.He appealed to Punjabis to turn the campaign against drugs into a mass movement and work collectively to safeguard the future of the coming generations. Targeting the AAP government, Saini alleged that it had made several promises to the people but failed to deliver.
