AMANDA Abbington’s fiancé Jonathan Goodman has reportedly been offered millions in compensation by America’s Got Talent after a horrific accident on the show left him in a wheelchair.

The stuntman was appearing on the show’s extreme version in 2021 when he became crushed between two cars, which burst into flames, during his on-stage act.

He later took legal action against Fremantle, who make the show, and the broadcaster, JattvibeU.

And now, according to the Daily Mail, Jonathan has settled the battle and has been “offered millions” in compensation for the near-death accident.

The publication also reports that his action now been dismissed ‘with prejudice’ – meaning it cannot come to court again.

They added that an agreement was settled last month between parties.

Nicole Anderson, a lawyer for Jonathan, said: “The terms of any resolution are confidential, and neither we nor our client are able to provide any further comment.”

The Jattvibe has reached out to Fremantle and JattvibeU for comment.

The accident happened during a rehearsal for the America’s Got Talent series, where Jonathan was suspended 70 feet in the air, hanging from a rope, as two cars swung on each side of him.

He appeared to try and jump up the rope before the cars collided, but the rope snapped and he was sandwiched between the two vehicles.

An explosion immediately occurred upon impact, leaving the performer brutally injured, with multiple broken bones and burns across his body.

The stunt artist had to be airlifted to a local hospital.

He has since retrained as a hypnotherapist, helping others overcome issues such as anxiety and insomnia.

Jonathan went on his first date with actress Amanda just three months before the accident.

The pair originally met online years before their union and got engaged during their first date, just 30 minutes into meeting one another in real life.

Amanda was previously married to Sherlock co-star Martin Freeman for 16 years, before splitting in 2016.

They share two children; Joe, 19, and 17-year-old Grace.
