GABRIEL Garland has broken his silence after being axed from Love Island — and has revealed he had a strong connection with one girl that never made it to air.
The hunk, 24, was removed from the show after producers discovered that he had a link to a stabbing that took place in 2019.

Gabriel was edited out of the show’s pre-recorded episodes and his removal wasn’t shown.
The model has stayed quiet about being axed but he’s now posted an explanation video on Instagram.
Speaking from his home, he said: “There was an incident that happened at a party I was at when I was a teenager. This incident is obviously one that should not be taken lightly and was very traumatic for everyone concerned.
“I just wanted to make it clear, the legal judge found no wrongdoing against me and I don’t have a criminal record.

“This has resulted in me leaving Love Island, which is very disappointing.
“I was also forming a really strong connection in there which you guys didn’t get to see, which is sad. But I wanted to tell you this directly.”
He thanked people for sending him supportive messages and said he wants to “move forward in a positive way”.
Six boys and six girls were officially unveiled as this year’s Love Island Casa Amor cast.
However, only five lads ended up taking part in the show as Gabriel wasn’t replaced.
ITV told The Jattvibe about the situation: “We will not be commenting further out of a duty of care towards participants.”
Gabriel is the second Islander to have left this year’s show by unusual means.
George Knight departed earlier this month and initially it was claimed to be down to ‘personal reasons’ owing to a health issue of a family member.
Whilst that remained true, it was soon uncovered that at the same time, he was asked to leave the ITV programme after using a slur.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
