BBC Breakfast has come under fire once again after furious viewers complained to Ofcom about an ‘irresponsible’ segment.
It has been revealed that the show received over 100 complaints about a segment they aired on August 28.

BBC Breakfast has been slapped with a total of 106 complaints after they showed the Grand Theft Auto trailer at breakfast time.
Viewers were likely up in arms over the promotion of GTA 6 because it’s a violent video game and kids could be watching at that time of the morning.

Ofcom revealed that the complaints all related to how it was: “Irresponsible to broadcast the trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6.”
It comes after BBC Breakfast faced criticism when they revamped their studio and logo.

Furious BBC Breakfast say ‘it’s awful’ as show gets unexpected overhaul
Last month, BBC Breakfast appeared with surprise new colouring and studio set up.
Their logo was even set against a blue backdrop with an orange sunrise in the centre.
Moreover, the show also introduced a new headline banner across the bottom of the screen which stays in place for the whole show.
The banner, which came alongside new large captions over news reports, had some viewers complaining they couldn’t concentrate on what was being said due to the large graphics.
One person said at the time: “Really don’t like this new headlines banner along the bottom of the screen.
“It’s distracting and I’m not concentrating on what Sally and Ben are saying. I expect this on the news channels but not on Breakfast. Horrible!”
Another then weighed in and said: “What is that colour scheme. Bring back the red and white.”
The switch-up came amid an overhaul for the news show in general.
Earlier this summer, it was revealed that longtime BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty had stepped down.
The presenter joined the show back in 2009, but is now moving over to Radio 5 Live.
She will take the helm in January, taking over from the current 5 Live Breakfast hosts, Rachel Burden and Rick Edwards, who are stepping down in December.
