THE BEATLES’ brotherhood is to be brought to life in four blockbuster movies – just as series star Barry Keoghan battles real-life ructions with his own sibling.
Barry will play drummer Ringo Starr in The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event, directed by Sam Mendes.

I’m told Eric previously acted as Barry’s assistant on set and would often accompany him to filming.
But now, word is that Eric is no longer welcome and has been absent from filming in recent weeks.

A source said: “Eric is back in Ireland and is not living with Barry at the house he is renting near London.
“Barry is in the honeymoon phase with his new girlfriend, Danica Hall, and she is not Eric’s biggest fan. Barry decided it was best that Eric didn’t stay with him and he has not been seen at filming.
“Eric didn’t always bring out the best in Barry so it is probably better that the brothers are not in each other’s pocket.”
The films also star Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison and Harris Dickinson as John Lennon.
Earlier this week, the cast were seen recreating the famous shot of the band at the Abbey Road zebra crossing in North West London.
Footage showed the four actors strutting across the road in St John’s Wood while a choreographer counted for them to step in time.
The original Beatles shot became the cover of their 1969 studio album and fans have flocked to the spot ever since.
Barry and Eric grew up in the Summerhill district of Dublin’s tough Northside.
Their mother, Debbie, died at age 32 from a heroin addiction, while their dad was not in the picture.
The brothers were in foster care before later being taken in by gran Pattie.
Barry deleted his Instagram profile following his break-up from singer Sabrina Carpenter in 2024.
But Eric often posted shots of the pair on his account, including of them at the Peaky Blinders film premiere in Birmingham in March.
Oh dear, it sounds like it could be some time before Barry and Eric make up.

KSI and The Sideman are releasing a new reality show on Netflix called Outside.
They want to rival I’m A Celeb, so cast members will be sleeping in the great outdoors as part of the series.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge filmed the show in the UK earlier this year and contestants include Too Hot To Handle’s Chloe Veitch and Louis Russell.
An insider said: “KSI has been absorbing all the tricks of the trade when he has been filming BGT on ITV and running off to Netflix to make this new series.
“Contestants may choose to do this over I’m A Celeb because of the exposure and fanbase. It will also be released at a similar time.”
Filming happened in May and there will also be a spin-off, Outside: The Reunion.

MOLLY-MAE HAGUE is a woman who can do it all.
Just two months after welcoming her second child with boxer Tommy Fury, I can reveal the former Love Island star is back at work.
I am told that Molly filmed for a new Adidas Originals advert in London’s Westminster on Thursday, after she collaborated with the brand in January.
Molly worked with Adidas to release a limited-edition collection of the Superstar II trainer and Samba shoe along with apparel, which included tracksuit bottoms and jackets.
A source said: “Molly has made no secret of the fact that she is itching to get back to work following the birth of her second child Midas.
“She absolutely loves being a mum-of-two but is a businesswoman as well.
“This new advert takes Molly’s collaboration with the brand to a whole new level.”
If her latest collection is anything to go by, I am excited to see what Molly has in store for us.

SHAGGY has penned a song he reckons would be perfect for Harry Styles.
The It Wasn’t Me hitmaker, who recently released his 13-track album Lottery, said the former One Direction star’s voice would be a great fit for the dance-style track.
“I have a song right now that sounds like Harry Styles,” he told Biz on Jattvibeday.
“I have no idea of how to get in touch with Harry but this record is a hybrid dance record. It has an amazing hook and I was like: ‘Ok this sounds like Harry.’”
Shaggy added: “I think one of the big things about success is the element of surprise. That’s why I thought of Harry as no one in a million years would think this will happen.”
Meanwhile Shaggy revealed how he recently bumped into comedian Sacha Baron Cohen at a private event in Greece.
He and Sacha, as his comedy character Ali G, collaborated on the song Me Julie in March 2002.
But Shaggy said he has not been asked to work on a track for the upcoming film Ali G: Who Iz I?, set for release on October 23.
Of comedy today, Shaggy said: “People are way more sensitive now, back then you could get away with a lot of things.”
