While the trampoline can be great for keeping the children entertained while at home during summer, there are issues parents should be aware of.
Outdoor structure specialists, Open Space Concepts, have previously issued a warning that people could be breaking garden laws without even knowing.
Founder Jamie Jones explained: “The lack of awareness surrounding certain UK gardening laws can lead to unpleasant surprises for homeowners.
“Understanding these lesser-known regulations is not just about compliance but also about fostering relationships with neighbours and contributing to a peaceful community.”

Under Article 8 of the Human Rights Act, bouncing too high can infringe on privacy rights and the constant creaking sounds of the trampoline can also lead to people being reported for noise complaints.
Each council has its own Environmental Health Department, which is legally obligated to investigate nuisance complaints, including noise and disruptive behavior.
Preventative action is suggested to avoid these issues.
To avoid complaints from neighbors, it is worth considering the strategic placement of the trampoline.
It can also be worth simply extending the height of fences between neighbours or planting tall trees to increase privacy.
If fined, owners could see the trampoline removed altogether as well.
