THE creator of beloved TV show Bullseye left £90,580 in his will.
Andrew Wood, who died aged 91 last year, came up with the idea for the darts programme that originally ran from 1982 to 1995, fronted by comedian Jim Bowen.

The dad of two, from Surbiton, South West London, left everything — including copyright to the Bullseye show format — to wife Jane, 81.
Andrew applied to trademark the name across everything from aftershave and jewellery to clothing and chocolates.

Andrew’s widow and daughter Laura Wood are still heavily involved with the telly show.
Laura said in tribute at the time of his death: “My mum and I said a goodbye that we always knew was coming.

“But so desperately never wanted to.
“Most people will know him as the man, the legend, who created Bullseye.
“I simply know him as dad.”
The show was reborn due to the popularity of darts once again following the rise of stars like Luke Littler.
It ran for 365 episodes across 16 series from 1982 to 1995 on ITV.
The new version began in December 2025 and is hosted by former cricketer Freddie Flintoff.
