MATHEUS CUNHA saved Manchester United from an embarrassing loss at Fulham with a deflected late leveller.

The Red Devils were staring defeat in the face after Lisandro Martinez and Senne Lammens combined for a comical own goal in the 63rd minute.

But Cunha struck in the 89th to clinch a point and relieve some – but only some – of the pressure on under-fire United boss Michael Carrick.
