Ireland’s McKenna is looking to claim the title in front of his home fans, but faces a stiff test in former IBO champion Oliha.

Both fighters hold perfect records heading into the 3Arena this weekend, with the Irishman boasting 20 wins and ten knockouts, while his opponent has 22 wins and ten stoppages to his name.

Last time out, McKenna earned this world title opportunity by dominating former champion Liam Smith on the undercard of Chris Eubank Jr’s win over Conor Benn in their first fight.

Now, he returns to his home country for the first time as a professional – The Silencer was an amateur star in Ireland, winning more than 150 fights and eight national championships.

The event this weekend is being run by Zuffa Boxing, with Dana White expected to be in attendance for their first show in Dublin.

When is Aaron McKenna vs Etinosa Oliha?

The mammoth IBF title clash will take place on Saturday, August 8.

Coverage of the main card will begin at 7pm BST.

Ring-walks are expected at approximately 10.20pm, but this may change depending on the results of the undercard.

The 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland will host the action.
