As the weather scorched the Wembley turf, there was only one team that warmed to the occasion as Notts County hit Salford for three to win the League Two play-off final on Bank Holiday Monday.

Salford had won each of the last five meetings between these sides, including their most recent clash in April.
However, that was flipped on its head today as the world’s oldest professional football club ripped apart their promotion rivals.
