Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today played down the buzz around the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP) and said there was no resentment among the youth against BJP.Asked to comment on CJP and its rise, Saini drew parallels between CJP and AAP, and asked, “How long does a cockroach live? You know AAP’s lifespan too. Every entity’s age is fixed. The mosquito dies in eight days.”Saini said there was no resentment among the youth, so there was no need to address the CJP issue. He attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for “flashing a copy of the Constitution” and said, “The Congress claimed that if BJP-led NDA was elected for a third term, the Constitution would be endangered. Was the Constitution not endangered during Congress rule in 1975, during the 1984 Sikh massacre, when Article 370 was retained, and when the Naxal movement was allowed to continue?”“I do not know who writes Rahul Gandhi’s scripts,” Saini said, adding that India was moving forward in accordance with constitutional principles under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rule.He also attacked AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, recalling, “Kejriwal swore by his children and said he would never ally with the Congress. But both fielded a joint candidate against me from Kurukshetra,” the CM said in New Delhi, where he was attending an event.
