And Becks was put through an emotional rollercoaster in the 0-0 draw – one which will surely have been felt by millions watching back home.
Beckham, 51, looked sharp as he came suited and booted for the Group L clash.
He was seen blowing a kiss with a smile on his face.
Like most Three Lions fans, Beckham would’ve came to the game in buoyant mood after a 4-2 win over Croatia in Dallas.

But the frustration began to build for Thomas Tuchel’s men on the pitch.
And the biggest cheer of the first half came when Becks flashed up on the big screen.
Pictures from the game then showed Becks with his head in his hands.
And, by the end of the match, he was scratching his forehead in frustation.
