A bomb threat email sent to DPS School, Chapparchiri, in Kharar on Friday morning triggered a security alert, following which students were sent home and the premises were sanitised.Local police teams rushed to the campus and carried out a thorough search operation. Officials later confirmed that no suspicious object was found on the premises.As a precautionary measure, the school administration decided to send all students home.Notably, several establishments in the district, including the District Administrative Complex in Sector 76, the judicial complex and schools, have received hoax bomb threats in recent months.
