Spence, 25, was hurt in a tussle with striker Liam Delap as he took an elbow to the face.
The Blues ace was penalised for the foul, but the full-back is still paying the price.
Spence went for medical checks after the match and it was discovered that he had in fact broken his jaw in the challenge.
The Athletic claim that despite the injury, Spence WILL START for Spurs against Everton on the final day of the Premier League season.

The news of Spence’s mangled mandible comes just a day before Thomas Tuchel‘s squad for this summer‘s World Cup is announced.
Spence has an outside shot of being included in the final 26.
He has only made four appearances for the Three Lions – all of which have come under Tuchel.
