The last-minute Fame replacement for Kevin Njie, Pedroni, walked out in turn as the anonymous opponent and the much larger man.
In the fifth fight of the night, former professional swimmer Pedroni brought early jabs with the length advantage as Batista struggled with the distance.
With Batista on the back foot, Pedroni grew in confidence, landing a couple body shots on the way.
Erratic exchanges were met in the second round as Batista looked to be out of ideas.

A knockdown came soon after as Pedroni got the anti-bullying influencer up against the ropes and on to the floor.
Round three brought a seasoned performance from Pedroni who went into the night on the back of three straight wins.
Batista hollered “Bring it on”, but the referee was anything but convinced as he brought the fight to a halt.
Pedroni got his gnashers on the medal, testing the strength of his win.
