HARRY KANE is an ambitious target for Saudi side Al-Hilal, but their bid to land the England captain is set to fail.

Kane, 33, has been subject of interest from a host of clubs across Europe this summer, but Bayern Munich are offering fresh terms.

Spanish champions Barcelona expressed serious interest, while Inter Milan and AC Milan in Italy were also keen.

Officials from the Saudi club have met with Kane’s representatives this summer, but a move to the Middle East is deemed incredibly unlikely this summer.

Kane scored 73 goals for club and country last season and is the favourite to win the Ballon d’Or this year.

The former Tottenham man is very well settled in Munich and the German club are confident of agreeing a new deal with their talisman.

Kane is Bayern’s joint-top earner, alongside Jamal Musiala, with each banking around £21.5million per year.

His contract expires at the end of this season, with the new terms on offer expected to be a two-year extension.

Kane has won two Bundesliga titles, a German Cup and has been the top scorer in the German top flight in each of the last three season.

However, Vincent Kompany‘s side fell short in the Champions League once again last season, losing to Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-final.

Al-Hilal are in the market for either a striker or a winger this summer and have expressed interest in Chelsea‘s Pedro Neto, valued at almost £100m, and Aston Villa‘s Ollie Watkins.

A move for a forward hinges on Malcom, the former Barcelona winger, departing.

Al Hilal – who are managed by ex-Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi – have already snapped up Crysensio Summerville from West Ham in a £60m deal.

They boast a star-studded squad that includes Ruben Neves, Darwin Nunez, Theo Hernandez and Karim Benzema.
