A third applauded: “Congratulations to you all! Welcome to the world little one.”

The 31-year-old actor is already a devoted stepfather to partner Aimee Scott’s four-year-old son, Zach William, from an earlier relationship.

They got engaged in 2024, sharing the news to Instagram at the time with a sweet post of Aimee’s engagement ring.

The former Hollyoaks star proposed to his girlfriend just a few months before embarking on a body-changing fitness journey.

They are yet to share further plans for their big day.

The soap star – who left in 2016 – to become a roofer, previously said he hates it when people recognise him in the street.

After leaving the Channel 4 programme in 2016, Alfie struggled with anxiety and panic attacks as he felt the pressure of trying to land another acting job.

The keen boxer was hungry for roles with more intensity.

He landed a part in Tracy Beaker spin-off Dumping Ground in 2017 followed by a theatre tour of Sebastian Faulks’ war drama Birdsong.

But when the work dried up Alfie’s mental health issues began, and he “lost all sense of direction”.

Alfie is best known for his Hollyoaks body dysmorphia storyline, which shone a spotlight on the condition that sees sufferers have a distorted view of themselves.

Alfie was previously in a relationship with his co-star Amanda Clapham, who played Holly Cunningham in the soap.

The former couple split in 2019 after six years together.
