TEMPLEGATE takes on Thursday’s racing confident of building the bank for a cracking weekend of action.

Follow him in by clicking the odds below.

SLANAGAIBHGOLEIR (3.10 Perth, nap)

HARRY Cobden can give new boss JP McManus a smile by riding this one to glory. Gordon Elliott trains this eight-year-old chaser who failed to stay 3m5f in the Ulster National last time out. He was in good form over this distance before that, landing a nice win at Down Royal at Christmas before going close there again before running out of petrol on his latest start. Cobden takes over from 5lb claimers who have been on board and this trip should be much more up his street. He likes a little bit of juice in the ground so should be fine in these conditions too.

NO KNEE NEVER (4.22 Beverley, nb)

Was in winning form at Lingfield on Monday and can strike again under a 5lb penalty. His rider’s claim cancels that out and he’s best over this trip. This race looks no tougher than last time.

THEONEWEDREAMOF (3.00 Warwick, treble)

Was a fair third at Leicester last time and should be spot-on for the Skeltons to land another nice pot. She moves up in trip here and is only 4lb higher than when scoring over it at Exeter earlier this season.

LIFE AFTER LOVE (5.30 Southwell, Lucky 15)

Has won twice this season, including over this course and distance last time. A 4lb rise for that gives her every chance of following up with Hollie Doyle taking over.
