He has been in fine form on turf with a Hamilton win and second but Newcastle is his happiest hunting ground. He has never been out of the frame in six visits and saves his best for this distance. He still looks well handicapped despite his two good runs and has looked his old self since joining trainer Alan Brown.
BRAVO ZULU (3.48 Pontefract, nb)
Enjoyed himself on his first crack over this 6f trip when going close at Redcar last week. A repeat off the same mark would take him very close.
ALMA LATINA (2.48 Pontefract, treble)
Has looked a nice prospect on both starts with places at Sandown and Salisbury. Trainer Ralph Beckett can get a win out of her.
WAY MAKER (4.00 Southwell, Lucky 15)
Won two bumpers and showed promise when third on hurdles debut at Perth last month. He should improve and this longer distance looks a wise move.
