Students dissatisfied with their Class 12 board exam marks can now apply for reevaluation through CBSE’s post result services portal. However, only those candidates who have already obtained a photocopy of their evaluated answer book are eligible to seek reevaluation.Here’s how students can complete the process-Step 1- Visit the CBSE post result portalGo to the official CBSE portal for post result services and complete the Aadhaar authentication process.Step 2- Log in using your credentialsStudents will need to enter their roll number, school number, admit card ID and other required details to access the portal.Step 3- Select the reevaluation optionAfter logging in, choose the reevaluation service and select the subject for which you want your answers to be reviewed.Step 4- Identify the questions to be checkedUnlike earlier systems, students must specify the exact question numbers they want reevaluated. CBSE will review only those answers selected by the candidate.Step 5- Pay the prescribed feeComplete the payment online through the available payment modes. The application will be processed only after successful payment.Step 6- Submit and save the acknowledgementOnce the form is submitted, download and save the confirmation page for future reference.CBSE has advised students to carefully review their answer books before applying and ensure that all details entered on the portal are correct. The board has opened the reevaluation window till June 6, after which no fresh applications will be accepted.What can change after reevaluation?Following the review, marks may increase, decrease or remain unchanged depending on the findings of the examiner. The revised marks, if any, will be treated as final.
