I AM trying my best not to complain about the hot weather, but my skin is really suffering.
If you’re in the same boat, these cooling skincare products might just be the perfect antidote.

Thank you!
I love that they’re compostable at home, so the environmental impact of it being single-use is minimised.
I’ve even started keeping a stash of these in the fridge to make the masks feel even cooler. Honestly, they’re a game changer.

Milk Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Ice, £28, spacenk.com: This might look like something you’d find on your teenager’s vanity, but the jelly texture is more than a novelty.
It means you can apply the lightweight serum over make-up (as well as under) without impacting the wear time or dislodging anything in the process.

One of the fastest acting masks I’ve ever used Credit: Supplied
Clarins Cryo-Flash Cream-Mask, £54, boots.com: If you want visible results as well as cooling action, this is the best of both worlds – and one of the fastest acting masks I’ve ever used. The thick, creamy formula is easy to apply and as soon as I removed it, my face looked healthier.
Redness was noticeably reduced and my skin looked more alive, with a radiant glow – almost as if I regularly get eight hours sleep (and not the five-and-a-half I’m averaging at the moment).
PICK OF THE WEEK
IT’S been a long time since I was last wowed by a hair straightener but the new AI-powered GHD Sculpt (£369) has changed that – and is worth every penny.
Its smart tech measures the temperature of the hair passing through the plates – not just the plates themselves – to ensure there’s absolutely no heat damage to your locks.
It also means zero compromise between hair health and a sleek, long-lasting style.
