Last month, Janette broke her silence about the “end of an era” and not being sure when the next time she will get to dance on stage with hubby Alijaz Skorjanec will be.
And now she has opened up about her departure in more depth, while touching on not knowing how to navigate it all.
Speaking in a new video shared to her YouTube channel, the presenter said: “Strictly Come Dancing has changed hugely and I am no longer a part of It Takes Two or the main show.

“I’ll still be involved in other ways. But, that just means that I’m free to pursue and do many other projects that I’ve always wanted to do and never really thought about doing.
“Strictly is all I’ve known for the past 14 years so it is a bit like, ‘Oh, we’re going into a different world, a different space, how are we going to navigate that?’.”
Janette went on to reveal she will continue filming YouTube videos as she navigates faces the “big shift and change” in her life.
She added: “I’m making a huge shift in my career.
“I want to bring you on the journey with me and bring you on the ride and guide you on the madnss of it all, as it is a crazy shift.
“Reality is going to hit when I come back from my holiday.”
The hit BBC is currently undergoing a huge revamp ahead of its return in September.
With new hosts following Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman‘s departure from the show, the show will feel different once the new series begins.
Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdicombe are the trio replacing Tess and Claudia as hosts.
Not only will the show have new hosts, but the selection of professional dancers have had a shake up too.
Several of the well known professional dancers have also been axed from the show.
Among the axed pros are the likes of Luba Mushtuk, Gorka Marquez, Karen Hauer, Nadiya Bychkova and Michelle Tsiakkas.
Janette’s husband Aljaz is confirmed to be returning as a pro to this year’s Strictly but has also just finished performing with his wife on a nationwide tour.
Despite his wife’s show axe, Aljaz recently shared a post in full support of the programme despite his wife’s axing.
Sharing a throwback snap of him and Janette behind-the-scenes of a pro dancer photoshoot in 2013, he said online: “@jmanrara and I look a couple months younger there.
“Little did I know then how being a part of @bbcstrictly would change my life for the better FOREVER. Back for my 12th season! Bring it on!!
“My mission is to look exactly like I did in this photo by the time you see me on your screens in autumn.“
