Relying on a quote from his father, Dharmendra, he responded: “Earlier, both countries were the same. As my father used to say, India is the mother, and Pakistan emerged from India, so it became the mausi (aunt). We are all connected to each other.”The comment severely upset netizens and fans given the historical friction and border tensions between the two nations. Many heavily criticized him on social media platforms arguing that such a comparison was inappropriate.Just a month prior, a video went viral from the trailer launch of his film Ikka.
