JESSIE J had revealed she is officially cancer free, a year after being diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoing surgery.

The singer and mum-of-one, 38, said she “sobbed for hours” after being given the all clear from doctors.

Sharing a video of herself in hospital to Instagram, an overjoyed Jessie wrote: “RESULTS ARE IN AND I AM CANCER FREE‼️😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

“I sobbed for hours and then exhaled for the first time in a year”.

Before getting the results, Jessie admitted she was feeling nervous as she said: “Not going to lie, I’m s****ing myself”.

As Jessie confirmed she is now cancer free, her fans and friends flooded the comment section of the post with joy.

Singer Becky Hill wrote: “more life, love & power to u JJ ❤️ beating cancer is a real flex”.

“Amazing news,” said Kimberley Walsh.

Jessie first shared her cancer diagnosis last June, revealing at the time she was undergoing surgery.

At the time, she said: “I was diagnosed with early breast cancer.”

She added: “Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding on to the word ‘early’”.

Jessie then underwent surgery, which was successful and removed the cancer – which had not spread to any other areas.

Following the surgery, Jessie, who is a mum to two-year-old son Sky, said: “Cancer is all gone.

“My nipple is where it used to be, I can watch Love Island with no guilt.

“I am getting to rest and talk to friends more than ever.

“My mum lives with us. Sky just being Sky. Chanan making me feel safe and the messages are 10/10.

“Connecting with other people who are going through a similar time and being able to support each other.”
