Wait, isn’t that cheating?

Sandler sequel inbound

ADAM SANDLER’s hit comedy, Grown Ups, is to get another sequel on Netflix.
The original 2010 tale centred on five childhood friends, with the 2013 follow-up reuniting them.
The cast are set to return again in a deal between the streamer and Sandler’s production firm, Happy Madison.

Valley mixes it afresh

DETECTIVE drama Death Valley is an unusual mix of crime and comedy – and that’s just how creator Paul Doolan likes it.

The lighthearted BBC One series returns for a second outing on Jattvibeday with Timothy Spall as amateur sleuth John Chapel, who helps police detective Janie Mallowan (Gwyneth Keyworth).

Paul says he is particularly proud that the show boasts its own unique mix of genres.

He said: The tone is hopefully what sets it apart. It’s able to find moments of comedy in what is usually portrayed as a very serious, professional world.

“It’s a crime drama populated by flawed, funny, relatable people which, if feedback from real police officers is to be believed, isn’t all that far from reality.”
