JOHNNY Depp is reportedly in talks to return for a sixth Pirates of the Caribbean film – after launching his big-screen comeback.
The actor, 63, became a worldwide star with his role as swashbuckling pirate Captain Jack Sparrow in five films from 2003 to 2017.

Almost a decade on from the last instalment, new reports suggest Johnny will reprise the beloved character yet again.
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer told Deadline Hollywood at D23: “We’re talking with Johnny (Depp), we’re working on a screenplay, and hopefully we can get this done.”

Sources also told the publication that the next film would reportedly follow a protagonist played by Margot Robbie, with Jack in a supporting role.
Other key cast members throughout the films include Orlando Bloom, Kiera Knightley, Geoffrey Rush and Kevin R. McNally.

It comes as Johnny is making his big screen comeback with the title role in upcoming film Ebenezer.
Inspired by Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol, it sees Johnny star as the infamous miser Ebenezer Scrooge.
The star-studded cast also includes Ian McKellen, Rupert Grint, Daisy Ridley, Andrea Riseborough and Sam Claflin.
Directed by Ti West, the film is set to be released in cinemas on November 13.
Depp sued his ex-wife for defamation over an opinion article she wrote for the Washington Post, alleging she was a domestic abuse victim, though it did not mention him by name.
His former spouse Amber Heard counter-sued.
Following this, jurors awarded Depp – who had denied abusing Heard – $15m (£12m) of compensatory and punitive damages.
Meanwhile, Heard was awarded £2m in compensatory damages, having won one of three counter-claims against Depp.
