She shared an x-ray image of damaged lungs to her social media, writing: “I have to stop.”
Katie’s mum has Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) and underwent a lung transplant in 2022.
Despite insisting she would pack it in, Katie shared a video of her relaxing on a sunbed beside the pool while holidaying in Dubai with her new husband Lee Andrews.
A source said: “Katie had the best of intentions but she’s not been able to cut the bad habit.

PAYING THE PRICE
Is Katie starting to see ‘real’ Lee Andrews after he abandons her on TV?
“When she visits her husband Lee in Dubai she struggles without her CBD oil, which is banned over there.
“While vapes are legal, Katie being back on them means she has gone back on her word to her mum who has been worried about her addiction.”
Katie came under fire last year for vaping on a train, despite e-cigs being banned on transport, and also risked being fined after using her vape backstage at panto before Christmas the year before.
In 2023, Katie revealed she was addicted to vaping – claiming it made one of her teeth fall out.
Over Christmas, Katie was put on medication following concerning weight loss.
Doctors investigating the reason behind her frail frame put her on HRT (hormone replacement therapy) – the traditional treatment for perimenopause.
At the time, she found research findings that claimed “vaping has officially been linked to rare and irreversible lung disease.”
It inspired her intentions to quit, but Katie has gone back on her word while spending time out in Dubai with Lee amid speculation he is unable to leave the United Arab Emirates city after allegedly forging his ex-girlfriend Dina Taji’s signature to secure a £200,000 loan – something he’s strongly denied.
Katie said on her podcast in December: “I saw it [the x-ray]. It’s so bad the vaping, it’s so bad for people.
“I had a word with mum and Paul and said my new year’s resolution is to give up vapes.
“I’m lucky I’ve had my lungs checked so there’s no damage to my lungs.”
