A MAN has been arrested in Athens over the death of a British woman whose body was found in a suitcase.

Elisabeth-Jane Ross, 38, was found stuffed inside the suitcase in an abandoned building last week.

She was a regular traveller to Greece, volunteering with NGOs in the country.

Greek police said a 26-year-old man, described as a foreign national, had been arrested for manslaughter and robbery.

Cops said they believe he used the victim’s bank cards to withdraw money.
