A 56-YEAR-old man has been arrested after a dead body was found in a caravan parked in a lay-by.
Police were called to the vehicle in Derby Road, Loughborough, on Monday following reports of a death.

The body of a man in his 40s was found in the motor home as police arrested a man on suspicion of murder.
East Midlands Police received a report at around 11.40pm on July 6 about a sudden death in a caravan.
Medics from the East Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
Following enquiries by the force, it was discovered that the deceased man was reportedly involved in an altercation in the days leading up to his death.

Detective Inspector Mike Chandler said: “I’ve got a dedicated team of officers working to understand what’s happened in this altercation and the events that led to the death of this man.
“Officers will be in the area of Derby Road over the coming days, carrying out enquiries and forensic investigations.
“A cordon will remain in place while these enquiries are carried out.”
The force has arrested a man who remains in police custody as enquiries continue.
Detectives are now calling for anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 26398136.
