A MAN was caught following a young woman around Boots while masturbating with body oil.

Paul Frost was seen CCTV opening a bottle of body oil at a Boots store in Great Yarmouth and putting his hands down his pants.

Paul Frost, 55, was found guilty of outraging public decency

He was caught on CCTV in Boots putting body oil in his trousers and allegedly masturbating

He then proceeded to follow and secretly look at a young woman inside the branch.

Following a trial at Norwich Magistrates’ Court, the 55-year-old was found guilty of an offence of outraging public decency.

Store security guard Christopher Jervis told the trial: “It was really strange behaviour to put his hands down his trousers and follow a young lady. It was wrong and disgusting.”

Police were called to the store on Market Place after security saw what Frost had done on December 5.

PC Jamie Land said: “He was talking to a woman and as she walked away the CCTV showed him putting his hands down his trousers and rubbing himself as he followed her around the store.

“He seemed to be fixated on her while touching his genitals. She was unaware but it was a busy period with other customers in the store.”

After reviewing the footage, the officer believed that Frost “posed a risk to lone females and the wider public”.

PC Land later arrested the man at Great Yarmouth railway station.

While at court, Frost denied that he was pleasuring himself and said he had been suffering from severe irritation.

He added that the itch was caused by an infection and he had no money to purchase medication for it.

Frost said: “All I can remember doing is using the body oil to soothe the itching because it was incredibly uncomfortable.

“I wasn’t following anybody. I was feeling desperate and didn’t know what else to do.”

But the prosecution said: “I suggest the itch was something very different than an irritation in your genital area.”

He was found guilty of an offence of outraging public decency and will be sentenced on May 20 when an application for a Sexual Harm Prevention Order will be made.

A second allegation that he masturbated on Yarmouth beach was dismissed.
