EX-RUGBY star Mike Tindall shocked guests at a posh literary festival by saying Prince Harry is no fun any more.

The Rugby World Cup winner — married to the King’s niece Zara — was talking about his pals who made fools of themselves at his wedding in 2011.

Tindall, 47, said ex-teammate James Haskell was invited to the nuptials as he was in the World Cup squad.

And he told James: “You made yourself an idiot at the wedding. A lot of other people managed way better than you — Harry, when he was fun.”

The Prince has been dogged with jibes claiming he is not “fun any more” since marrying Meghan eight years ago.

More than 1,800 fans paid £18 to see Tindall, Haskell and rugby host Alex Payne at the Hay Festival, in Wales.

The trio were advised to steer clear of Royal Family stories — but Haskell bantered with his former England international team mate about his marriage to Zara Phillips.

He even claimed Yorkshire-born Tindall had his own room inside Buckingham Palace, well away from disgraced former Prince Andrew, claiming: “It’s the opposite end.”

Haskell also poked fun at Tindall’s nose, which was broken eight times in his childhood and career.

It caused him breathing difficulties until he had corrective surgery, which Haskell jokingly said was paid for by public money.

He said: “If you see on your tax form rural affairs, it wasn’t Windsor Castle. It’s got the Royal Warrant, if you look inside it.”

The trio, at the festival to promote their book Reloaded — The Good, The Bad & the Rugby, have filmed a pilot TV show where they have a go at running Richmond Rugby Club.
