Continuing her remarkable academic excellence, Disha, a student of Ambedkar Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Mohali, has secured the first position in the MBBS course across Punjab under Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS). The result of MBBS-2021 batch was announced today.Disha scored an impressive 77.44 per cent marks in her four years of academic study, creating a record by securing the top university position for four consecutive years during her MBBS journey. Her consistent performance has brought pride to both her institution and family.Expressing happiness over her achievement, Disha credited her success to the constant encouragement and guidance of her parents and teachers. She said their unwavering support motivated her to maintain excellence throughout her medical studies.A first-generation doctor in her family, Disha aspires to become a paediatrician, fulfilling her childhood dream of serving children as a doctor.Her father, Deepak Kumar, is serving as a Director in the Bureau of Indian Standards, while her brother, Yash, is currently pursuing a PhD in Pharmacy.Faculty members and fellow students at AIMS congratulated Disha on her outstanding accomplishment, describing her achievement as an inspiration for aspiring medical students across the state.
