Players from Russia and Belarus, including women’s top seed Aryna Sabalenka and former US Open champion Daniil Medvedev, compete at Wimbledon without a country or flag beside their names.

It follows World Tennis – formerly the International Tennis Federation – keeping the two nations’ suspensions in place over the war in Ukraine.

In May 2026, the organisation confirmed that an International Olympic Committee policy shift “does not change its existing position” on the suspensions.

Russia and Belarus also remain banned from team events such as the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup.

When are the British stars playing today?

Day One saw 10 British players knocked out of the tournament in the worst opening round of matches in living memory.

And by the end of Day Two, 15 of the 19 UK hopefuls in the singles had fallen, leaving just Katie Swan, Arthur Fery, Jacob Fearnley and Jan Choinski flying the flag.

Jack Draper withdrew due to a long-term issue with bone bruising in his serving arm.

And Emma Raducanu was also forced to pull out with a stress fracture in her shin on the eve of the tournament.

There are no British players in singles action on Day Three, with second-round ties involving home survivors falling later in the week.

But there is a strong British presence in the men’s doubles, which gets under way today.

The home challenge is led by two seeded pairs on Court 16.

Top seeds Harri Heliovaara of Finland and Britain’s Henry Patten take on French pairing Terence Atmane and Luca Sanchez in the third match.

That is followed by British third seeds Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool versus Argentina’s Mariano Navone and Adolfo Daniel Vallejo from Paraguay.

On Court 15, Britain’s Dan Evans and Henry Searle open proceedings against ninth seeds Hugo Nys of Monaco and France’s Edouard Roger-Vasselin.

On Court 4, British pair Ben Jones and Joshua Paris are first up against Italian fourth seeds Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori.

The third match sees Britain’s Neal Skupski and American Christian Harrison against Argentinian pairing Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Mariano Kestelboim.

On Court 6, Britain’s Luke Johnson and Poland’s Jan Zielinski are on first, facing Switzerland’s Jakub Paul and America’s Ryan Seggerman.

Britain’s Harry Wendelken and Johannus Monday against France’s Corentin Moutet and Arthur Reymond is the third match.

While in the third match on Court 8, British duo David Stevenson and Marcus Willis play Uruguay’s Ariel Behar and Britain’s Joe Salisbury.

When is tomorrow’s order of play available?

At the time of writing, the schedule for Wednesday, July 1 is not available.

The official Wimbledon website states: “A full Order of Play will be available the night before the next day’s play.”
