BJP national general secretary (Organisation) BL Santosh on Monday said the party would contest all 117 Assembly seats in Punjab on its own and form the government in the state.“Punjab is fully ready for change, and the BJP is fully prepared to make this change a reality. In the upcoming Assembly elections, the BJP will contest all 117 Assembly seats in Punjab and, by securing a victory, will form its government in the state,” said Santosh.He was addressing the first zonal meeting held in Patiala on the first day of his two-day organisational visit to Punjab.Related news: BJP begins Punjab poll push: BL Santosh arrives in state to meet cadres, pacify miffed leadersEarlier, Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon had also ruled out alliance speculation, saying the party was fully prepared to contest all 117 seats in the state on its own.Earlier in the morning, Santosh was welcomed at the Chandigarh airport by Dhillon and Punjab BJP co-in-charge Narendra Singh Raina.During his visit, Santosh will review the organisation’s activities and preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections through zonal meetings with BJP leaders and organisational office-bearers across different regions of Punjab.On Monday, he will chair meetings in Patiala and Bathinda.The Patiala meeting brought together representatives from Mohali, Patiala North, Patiala Urban, Patiala South, Fatehgarh Sahib and Sangrur, while the Bathinda meeting will cover Barnala, Mansa, Bathinda Rural, Bathinda Urban, Muktsar Sahib, Fazilka and Faridkot.
