Algae can grow rapidly when exposed to a combination of sunlight and warm water.
Not only can it be hazardous and potentially cause you to slip in your garden, but it can spread toxins to animals.
Plus, algae can deprive sunlight from seedlings, as well as deoxygenate water.

Lidl is selling a Resolva Pati Power Clean by Westland Garden Health which is designed to remove green algae, mould, and black spots without scrubbing.
Not only is it cheap, but you can “spray and leave” it in affected areas.
Mix the solution in a water can or sprayer and results are said to work within a week.
Plus Lidl claims it can protect your garden for up to nine months.
The product is frequently featured in Lidl’s Middle Aisle and is returning to stores from June 14.
