Shimla-born television actor Aastha Sharma is set to take on the lead role of Leela in Zee TV’s upcoming show ‘Dilon Ki Ram Leela’, which premieres on August 24.Sharma will be paired opposite Mishkat Verma, who plays Ram in the show. The serial will be telecast daily at 10 pm on Zee TV.Born in Shimla, Sharma studied up to Class X at Chapslee School and completed Class XII from Loreto Convent Tara Hall School.She has appeared in several television shows and has played lead roles, including in Dangal TV’s ‘Piya Abhimani’. She has also featured in Colors’ serials ‘Neerja’ and ‘Swaran Ghar’, playing the roles of Neerja and Chhoti Swaran, respectively.
